Jazz and curry nights for 2012

We will be running our popular Jazz and Curry nights this summer on the following Saturday evenings, 2nd June, 7th July, 4th august and 1st September. Curry will be served from 6.30pm on a first come furst served basis, the music will be in the banstand from 7.30-9.00pm. Proceeds from the sale of the curry go towards help in running Saltaire Cricket Club.

Watch out for our Marquee!

We now have a large marquee which we can use for events and special occasions. It seats 50 people and covers most of the area directly outside of the Cafe. It takes 3 people an hour to erect it and take it down so we cannot use it everyday, however it will be a great asset offering shelter from the rain and sun! It is also available to people wishing to hire the Half Moon privately.

Free WiFi now available

A local company Exa Networks, is now supplying free WiFi for Half Moon Cafe customers ! This great service is for the benefit of all our customers and can be accessed inside and outside the cafe. We would like to thank Exa Networks for their support.

Would you like to join our team of volunteers working in the Half Moon Cafe? You can be involved in any aspect of the running of the cafe such as serving the public, kitchen assistant, helping with special events or support such as marketing, professional advice, serving on the management committee etc. Whether you can offer a regular time slot or help from time to time we would love to hear from you.
